Tonight Mr. Rooster and I watched the movie, Parenthood - it had been years since I'd seen it and for some reason as we venture into the roles of becoming parents (hopefully), I was curious . . . it definitely brought laughs and I most certainly prefer roller coasters to merry-go-rounds!
As we start along this new path, I am ever so excited!!! Personally, my life goal since I was of legal age has been to become a momma . . . and while I might not have anticipated waiting 12 years to start trying, I am so happy I did because it allowed me to learn more about myself as well as fall in love with Mr. Rooster : ) Although we have yet to be married for a year, we started talking about having little peeps after dating about 9 months (we've been together for over 4 years) . . . in some ways, back then, it was a bit of an ultimatum and he said ok- lucky me!
Like many others, I'm not ready for my world to know we're about to start trying . . . for the many reactions we might receive, in some ways, letting the world know in a different way (a.k.a. via blog) just seems better right now . . . besides, it gives me a place to record my baby prep research, talk with others and just vent in general.
